  2. We are going to talk about Asiatic Black Bear~!! 박준홍

  3. They live in: Korea and northeast China What makes the unique: They are big black furry animals with V shaped white spots on there chests.

  4. Physical distinctive: They can grow up 2meters in height and weighs up to 200kg. What they usually eat: Both plants and meat, Insects and barries, Bees and eggs. A fun fact about black bears: They can stand on there hind legs better then any other bear.

  5. Yeah Yeah~ So What? 권현준

  6. They are becoming extinct!! Why are they vulnerable? Because hunters are continuing to hunt them illegally for fer and gall bladders(웅담). Also people cut down forests to develop them into cities.

  7. We must!!! Know about (1)Although no one knows exactly how many Black bears are left, they are vulnerable and will soon become endangered if people continue to hurt them. (2)1000bears are killed annually and only 1/5th of their habitat remains.

  8. Where they live now: The black spots are where the black bears no longer exist! Brown: Where they are living now Grey: unknown if they exist Black: Extinct

  9. (Why should we care?) Because we are the ones who are responsible. “If” humans did not hunt them and distroy there habitats, black bears will not be in any danger. 에~정인기

  10. How to help them? WE can make places like the DMZ Where no humans can go…

  11. And also… The government can annually free black bears into the wild

  12. Organizations that help animals WWF: World wide fund for nature They make funds for nature and animals

  13. Organizations that help animals WSPA: World society for the protection of animals (They exist to stop animal cruelty across the globe )
