  4. eCATS Login Screen Suppliers enter their Honeywell ID Suppliers enter their password If a user forgets their Honeywell ID or password they can click here for assistance Suppliers can request Honeywell accounts through the Registration process.

  5. Supplier and Customer Registration Honeywell Suppliers can register here for user accounts Suppliers should request accounts for all their users

External Supplier Registration To get to this point the Supplier has already logged in with their Honeywell ID account and is creating a new eCATS Profile The Supplier will complete all the Required (*) fields. The Honeywell LDAP field is populated automatically from the Honeywell account used to login to eCATS.

Top Menu HOME – Returns you to the Dashboard HELP – Form to send your question to the eCATS general email box REPORTS – Access to the standard set of reports TRAINING – Here you will find the eCATS User Manual and the On-Line Help Tutorial. LOGOUT – And this is where you logout CAR – Draft CAR list, Initiate new CAR, and Advanced Search CONTACTS – Site focal listing for all sites in eCATS ADMIN – For Site and system information, including users, customers, and suppliers

  10. Search Enter a CAR ID number, part of it or all of it. Further define your search by looking for a CAR in a particular status Enter an issue date range for the search Enter the eCATS site you are searching If your search finds 1 CAR the system will automatically open that CAR. If it finds more then 1 CAR it will return a list of CARS with hyperlinks for you to select the CAR you wish to open. Suppliers are only able to locate for CARS assigned to their company

CAR List Display The list is divided into 3 sections It provides general information on open CARS You can change what is displayed on your list To open a CAR click on the CAR ID The CAR List displays on default all the open CARS associated with your account. You can change the view to show CARs you initiated, CARS open by your company, CARS that you have the pending action, as well as the CARS you have in Draft.

Log In and Dashboard Summary • Log in with your S Number • Supplier can request accounts from the log in screen • Search allows you to find existing CARS in the system • Change Display allows you to see CARS related to you or your company • ECATS security only allows suppliers to see CARs and data that relates to the suppliers company.

  16. How to Attach Documents Attach documents button, or from the left menu Locate the document on your computer Click on Attach Click on the file name to open the file Delete is available to administrators only Provide a brief description, Database field size will accommodate 50 characters

  21. Responding to a CAR The Event Question must also be written prior to the completion of this step. The question is on the Team page. Responding to a CAR Populate the text fields. Fields with an * are required fields. Select the Root Cause and C/A Codes Enter Promise Dates. These are the dates that the implementation will be done by and will be used as the due date for Waiting Owner Implementation Check off Response Complete Implementation Signoff will be completed after Lead Approval Submit will be grayed out until the Response Complete has been marked

  22. SPOC Approval (Honeywell Step) The SPOC name will auto populate when you select Accepted or Rejected Comments are always encouraged but will be required if the CAR is Rejected

  23. Lead/Requestor Approval (Honeywell Step) The Lead name will auto populate when you select Accepted or Rejected Comments are always encouraged but will be required if the CAR is Rejected

  25. Waiting Owner Implementation The Promise Dates Provided during the Owners Response provide the due date for Waiting Owner Implementation. If the Due dates above are less then 7 days in the future from the date the Owner signs off the Response Complete the system will use the Response Complete Signoff date plus 7 days as the due date for Waiting Owner Implementation. When all the promised actions have been completed the owner will mark off the Implementation Completed check box and submit the CAR.

  26. Follow Up Review (Honeywell Step) Schedule date will pre populate with 7 days after the Owner Implementation signoff date. If you put in a date before that it will be over written when the owner signs it off. Per ISO and other standards you must provide evidence of your follow up review. State what you looked at, validated, who you talked to, etc Enter the date the follow up review was conducted For your disposition you can determine what the following status will be. If an Effectiveness Review is not scheduled you will need to provide a reason why

Effectiveness Review (Honeywell Step) Schedule date will be set by the Follow Up reviewer when the Follow Up is finished Per ISO and other standards you must provide evidence of your Effectiveness review. State what you looked at, validated, who you talked to, etc Enter the date the follow up review was conducted

  29. CAR Comments Enter your comments Click Add to insert it into the CAR. Comments can only be deleted by an Administrator Then click Save at the bottom of the page to save the changes and the comment to the database
