  3. Mental Activity Think of a number game. I will think of a number. You must work out the answer.

  4. If I add 9, I have 16.

  5. If I take away 7, I have 5.

  6. The total of my number and 4 is 12.

  7. If I subtract 8, I have 10.

  8. The sum of this number and 7 makes 15.

  9. 17 minus my number makes 8.

  10. Main Activity Today we are going to halve amounts.
