Step 1 – Down Load the 2008 American Degree Application • Local Program Resource Guide 2007-2008 • http://www.ffa.org/index.cfm?method=c_programs.AmericanDegree • Minnesota FFA Degree Handbook – at – www.ffa.umn.edu – State packet. • Minnesota FFA Degree Extra pages – in Excell – includes – Cover Page, Checklist, Scorecard.

  3. Step 2 – Cover Page Include Member ID # and Email.

  4. Check these for eligibility! Cover Page B

  5. Page 5 • Establish the start date for the SAE (12 months period or less). • 2. Give a complete and accurate description of SAE location and responsibilities.

  6. Page 6 Include position title. Do NOT include FICA or with holdings as expenses.

  7. Machinery, Equipment Do not include 100% of the value of a car as a business investment. This pick up will show up as an investment on page 8 – section 4!

  8. IF you own a car! Here it is! – But remember it must include a purchase unless it is a gift.

  9. 2 – a 3. transfers from page 62 – b includes personal share of truck The Pick Up transfers automatically to page 9! Personal share of Pick Up is here.

  10. Page 9 Checks – Must be Met! If a student starts with investments on page 8 – you will need to physically add these investments on page 9 – they do not transfer automatically.

  11. Page 11 – Equity – Line 25 > $2,000 Page 11 – Equity – Line 26 e > $2,000

  12. Page 11 – Check – May include Erroras Gary did not have $7,500 invested (he does qualify with his investment of $2,015)

  13. Page 12 – 10 Activities above the Chapter level You may choose to enter the year - 2004, 2005,2006,2007 rather than the grade level – 9,10, 11, 12; either is acceptable.

  14. Insert Checklist – Please check all

  15. Add the Score Sheet – Additional pages Excel file

  16. Use the Cover Page = Excel additional pages – one staple

  17. Star Candidates • Complete the Star Battery – found at http://www.ffa.org/index.cfm?method=c_programs.AmericanDegree • On the lower right hand column find the Star Battery. • Complete worksheets cover – B 8. • No Pictures needed.
