PG&E Emergency Plan –Worker’s Perspective What if a disaster happens while I’m at work? • Stay calm and don’t panic • Know the emergency plan for your building, especially the stairway exit routes and where to assemble • Assume that all public transportation and travel paths will be closed for at least two days • Make sure you have a back-up caregiver for your family • Have an emergency kit for work: Include many of the same items as in your home kit, especially a change of clothes, sturdy shoes and necessary medications Pacific Gas & Electric Company
