Consequences for actors • Involve other actors, e.g. users in the projects - local authorities/actors • Follow EU – policy/strategy • Partnerships programmes – important to be active in relevant platforms and other groups • Higher Technology Readiness Levels • Focus on innovation - higher participation of industrial actors - research institutions. • Public procurement will mean involvement of different kinds of public bodies. • The new SME-instrument will require new types of advice and will stimulate a new category of SMEs not involved in transnational collaboration. Consequence: researchers need to develop relevant networks – regional actors

Converging technologies and benefit for societies Scope: • Develop a new attractive part of Stockholm - The Royal Seaport • Need to change todays closed ICT-, energy- and transportation systems with high costs and low resource efficiency and with limited innovation potential • Involving users to develop smart energy solutions, new ICT- and service solutions including new business models Constellation: • Research Institutes, City of Stockholm, Multinationals (ICT, Energy, Automation, Telecom, Developers), Housing organizations, Universities and SMEs
