Growing capacity and interest • Embed enterprise education within the curriculum. • Queen's University, Belfast has been named as the Times Higher Education Entrepreneurial University of the Year. Presenting the award Prof Paul Hannon (NCGE) said: "Queen's University is simply an excellent example of what we were looking for from an entrepreneurial university - strong leadership and vision, real student engagement, innovative faculty and clear evidence of the impact they have made in their local environment."

Or build space in the curriculum • SPEED (http://www.isbe.org.uk/SPEED) • Student Placements for Entrepreneurs in EDucation (SPEED) was a HEIF funded project led by Wolverhampton University with many other Universities across the country taking part. The aim of the project was to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to start up their own businesses.  Each of the 13-16 partners has a specific package of measures in place to see individuals through from business idea/concept to fully functioning companies.
