Terminally ill patients describe their pain • Dull • Tingling • Aching • Throbbing • Stabbing • Piercing • Pinching • Sharp • Aching • Burning
Virtue • Save Money • Give the opportunity for others to be treated • Cuts patient suffering • Every body has the right to chose their destiny • Elimination of the spread of diseases
Drawbacks • Only God has the right to end our lives • God was responsible for mankind existence in the first place • Devalues human life • Against god’s fatalism and predestination • Doctors moral responsibilities: keep patients alive; the Hippocratic oath. • Target the low-income, individuals • inhumane and bestial
