  2. Hitler’s Youth • Hitler was born on April 20, 1889. He was the fourth child of Alois Schickelgruber and Kara Hitler. He was born in the town of Braunqu. • His father wanted Hitler to become an official in the Austrian army. • Was obsessed with German Nationalism to rebel against his father. • Loved to paint • Was rejected twice by the academy of Fine arts Vienna.

  3. Hitler’s leadership style • Adolf Hitler had an Autocratic leadership style. • Very controlling and Distrusted everyone. • Very manipulating • Had great communication skills

  4. Hitler’s coercive power • Hitler became the leader of the Nazi party, and was voted in by the people. • The holocaust, and the destruction of over 6 million Jews

  5. Managing Conflict • If anyone questioned his authority, he would kill them. • He eliminated his other challenges, including Gypsies, communists, and Jews.

  6. Hitler’s Rating • Hitler was a very influential leader • Great manipulator • Had many followers, and people to agree with him on points of view • He brought people out of poverty, and eliminated unemployment
