  2. Size, Color, and Family Life . The coyote is 120 centimeters in length. And weighs 13 kilograms. Coyotes are medium sized dogs. A full grown coyote is the size as a collie. Coyots have up to 7 pups.The pups leave the den when they are 1 month old.

  3. Body covering Special body part and How it Breathes . The coyote has fur instead of skin. The coyotes fur can be white grey orange and black .The coyotes special body part is its nose because it helps it catch its prey.

  4. Food, How it Moves, and Enemies The coyote eats rodents, insects, deer, birds, carrion, snowshoe hairs, porcupines, sometimes plants and livestock such as sheep and small calves. The coyote runs walks and fights.The coyotes enemies are wolfs and human hunters. Trappers kill coyotes for their fur .

  5. Rest, Habitat, What it does in the Winter, and Other Information. The coyote sleeps in a den.You can find coyotes in mid and southern Manitoba. The coyote doesn't hibernate because it has thick fur. Coyotes are related to wolves, foxes and jackals.
