Isospin-Dependent Pairing Interaction in Finite Nuclei: A Universal Approach
This study investigates the isospin-dependent pairing interaction in finite nuclei, building on prior research by Carlos Bertulani and collaborators. We aim to formulate a universal pairing density functional that incorporates isospin and two-body Coulomb effects. The preliminary results indicate promising fitting potential for IS and IV pairing interactions, as outlined in previous works (PRC76,064316 and PRC77,054309). Key aspects such as core polarization effects and the isolation of pairing correlation properties from the overall functional will be discussed, leading toward a clearer understanding and application of these interactions.

Isospin Dependent Pairing Preliminary
Universal Pairing Density Functional with Isospin Dependent Pairing • To be clarified • Extension to isotones (I2 term (Yamagami) + Two-body Coulomb) • IS+IV pairing interaction looks promising for the fitting purpose. • Can pairing correlation properties be isolated from the full • functional? 9
Summary Core Polarization Effect in Finite Nuclei still needs to be clarified. Isospin dependent interaction is applied to describe the pairing properties of finite nuclei successfully. Toward universal pairing density functional.
