  1. Biological contaminants e.Coli, hepatitis A, and cholera

  2. Introduction! Water! It is one of our most important resources, We drink it, we bathe in it, we play in it, we even use it to produce electricity. But sometimes run off, sewage, and umm ahem “waste” can get into water supplies. When this happens something GROWS inside the water we all use. Something HORRIBLE SOMETHING TERRIBLE! SOMETHING THAT KILLS THOUSANDS EVERY YEAR! THESE MONSTERS ARE CALLED……. Diseases.

  3. E.Coli the shellfish monster! • This monster lives inside our very own bodies! Most e.coli live inside our intestines and cause no harm to the human it lives in. SOME E.COLI HOWEVER HAVE GONE…… BAD. THESE E.COLI cause severe abdominal pains , bloody diarrhea , SEVERE VOMITING!

  4. E.coli can be contracted from eating contaminated shellfish and raw meat. IT CAN ALSO BE FOUND IN WATER WHICH HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO “WASTE”. IT CAN TRAVEL FROM ONE PERSON TO THE NEXT BY THE VERY TOUCH OF A HAND!

  5. Hepatitis A, the liver eater This monster can cause liver failure, muscle pains, fevers, and ghastly yellowing of skin and eyes. It is found in food and water touched by “waste” of someone who has become infected. If you’re lucky, then the symptoms will pass in 2-3 months. There are 80,000 cases of infections caused by hepatitis A, although this monster does not kill most of it’s victims, it does cause extreme pain.
