  4. Cherry Road School • Focus not on “Are they collaborating?” but rather “What are they collaborating about?” • Purpose of collaboration (to help more students achieve at higher levels) can only be accomplished if professionals engaged in collaboration are focused on the right things.

Four Questions That Drive the Work of Our Collaborative Teams • What is it we want our students to learn? • How will we know if each student has learned it? • How will we respond when some students do not learn it? • How will we extend and enrich the learning for students who have demonstrated proficiency?
