  2. Who is he? • CaiGuo-Qiang is a Chinese artist that lived in Japan for 9 years learning. • He was born on December 8, 1957 • He is coming over to Qatar to present his art work (first country in the middle east)

  3. What does his artwork look like? • His art work is awesome and amazing, he uses strange tools and materials to make his art work visual and real.

  4. What is unique or different about his style of art and the materials he uses? • He uses strange tools. • He creates different designs and unexpected ones. • He THRILLS people with his artwork in different techniques. • He uses different shapes and abstracts.

  5. Do you like his artwork? Why or Why not? • I am amazed, thrilled and totally amazed by his artwork. I like the color schemes he uses in his artwork. He uses fascinating materials, especially the gunpoweder.

  6. What is the name of the exhibit at MATAHF and what is the meaning behind it? • The name of the exhibit is “ SARAB” • I am not that sure of the meaning behind it but I think that “SARAB” means endless.

  7. Name and describe a past exhibit/project that CaiGuo-Qiang has done • A past exhibit he has done is called “I want to believe” it was held from February 22 until May 28 2008 at the United states in New York city. • It described ancient mythology, military history and past observations.

  8. Chosen Artwork ( my opinion ) why did you choose that one? I chose this artwork because it inspired me and it was spectacular and huge to me I liked the design of the cars it thrilled me!
