  2. Remember! • Noun-names a person, place, thing, or idea. A noun is labeled according to its job in a sentence. (SN) • Verb-tells what is being said about the subject. The verb tells what the subject does or shows a state of being. (V) • Adverb- describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb. (Adv) • Adjective -describes a noun or a pronoun. (Adj)

  3. Questions to Ask…. Noun- WHO? WHAT? VERB- what is being said about? Adverb- how, when, or where ? Adjective- what kind, which one, or how many?

  4. Doctor spoke.

  6. A brilliant doctor spoke reluctantly.
