  3. State Consultants Job duties vary but often include: • Technical Assistance • Professional Development • Regulatory or Legislative Efforts • Data analysis • Caseload • Eligibility • Impact of proposed changes • Collaboration with Higher Education • Maintaining a Speech and Language website

  4. The SEACDC • The council has been meeting regularly since 1995 • State consultants regularly • Share information and ideas • Address issues • Provides links to resources for school based professionals • Communicates with the ASHA Board of Directors
