On May 18, 2011, North Grade Elementary School hosted a vibrant celebration of the Everglades and the Palm Beach Zoo's outreach program. Artists Mr. John Becker and author Mr. Harvey Oyer III brought their love for wildlife and conservation to students, engaging them through art and storytelling. The event included beautiful murals that brighten the school's environment while educating students about Florida's unique wetlands and wildlife. This collaborative effort aimed to inspire the next generation to appreciate and protect their natural heritage.
