Microscopic Analysis of Cutinized Cell Walls in Red Ripe Fruit Epidermis
DESCRIPTION
This study presents a detailed microscopic observation of the fresh peeled outer epidermis from red ripe fruit. Twelve independent measurements of the width of the cutinized cell walls were conducted, as indicated by red arrows in the micrographs. The scale bar represents 10 µm, providing a clear context for the observed cell wall dimensions. This analysis contributes to understanding the structural characteristics of fruit epidermis and the protective roles of cutinized cell walls in red ripe fruit.
