  3. CDMA Roaming Information Exchange Tool (C-RIET) Topic • Created a tool for carriers to exchange roaming documents in a secure location including permissions access and email notification. Status • Trial application in place and used by several carriers • Positive feedback from users Next Steps • Additional enhancements are being designed including security and usability enhancements • Hope to launch for use of all in 6 - 8 weeks

Mapping Exchange Topic • Need to easily exchange maps between carriers Status • C-RIET meets this need Topic #2 • Common mapping format requested Status • Sprint Nextel is carrier lead • Subgroup to focus on creating map requirements • Long term to consider a more elaborate solution similar to GSM World mapping site.

Voicemail & Caller ID Topic • Voicemail & Caller ID Status • Document finished, now ready to implement. • If you do SMS, the RSPs can assist you with SMS based notification. • No major barriers to MT implementation, RSPs can help. Enhanced PRL Implementation Update Topic • Created a quarterly survey to track carrier implementations of EPRL Status • Few carriers reported • Report will be posted on the CDG website in the Documents by Subject section Next Steps • Carriers please fill out the surveys • Review document #86 for more information • Contact your CDG CRM if you have questions about how to implement EPRL • If you want your partners to broadcast the correct MCC MNC – tell them so.

  8. EPRL Feedback From Carriers • Most reported reason for not broadcasting assigned MCC MNC – not necessary for their network. • Carriers most requested broadcast MCC MNC in the following countries: • USA • Canada, China, India, • Brazil, Mexico • Japan, Korea, Peru

Network Based Plus Code Dialing Implementation Update Topic • Created a quarterly survey to track carrier implementations of Plus Code Dialing Status • Few carriers reported • Report will be posted on the CDG website in the Documents by Subject section • VSWG approved Document 145 Next Steps • Carriers please fill out the surveys • Review document #145 with your engineering team and confirm the requirements meet your needs. • Contact your CDG CRM if you have questions about how to implement network based plus code dialing • If you want your partners to implement plus code dialing – tell them so.

Roaming process document #119 Topic • Process document is intended to provide companies with a single non-technical document to assist them in understanding the major components of international roaming and how they fit together. Status • TELUS and MiPhone agreed to assist with Billing and Revenue Assurance sections Next steps • Team review via wiki and conference call when outstanding sections are complete.

You matter! • We need your feedback and participation • Sign up for the VSWG distribution list • Designate your VSWG POC • Commit to having at least one person attend each of the team conference calls • Provide feedback on the team documents • Consider leading a work item • Complete the surveys as they are sent out • Participation is tracked with the VSWG carrier scorecard

You matter! • Commit to using these basic standardized documents • #44 – Roaming Agreement Template • #81 – Voice and SMS TDS • #120 – Voice Partner Qualification Form • #132 – SMS Partner Qualification Form • These will be tracked starting in June using carrier self reporting • Also will be asking for tracking of kinds of implementations and posting in C-RIET when it is in production.
