You CANNOT say both. • You MUST cite at least one example from the TIME magazine article to support your position.

  2. Argumentative Paragraph- What do I do? 1. Read article- pg 77-79 in Exploring our World 2. Figure out what your stance is- Is Globalization a good or a bad thing? 3. pick a piece of evidence from the article that PROVES YOUR POINT REALLY WELL. 4. Include that in your paragraph as a direct quote or a paraphrase, and cite it in your text. (Time Magazine) Double check that the quote you chose actually supports your point.

  6. The conclusion of the paragraph “The Bottom Bun” The end of the hamburger • The end of the sandwich that helps hold everything together. • The end of the paragraph can/should summarize the topic, re-state the main idea, and tie together any loose ends.
