IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST KIND THE MOST MERCIFUL • SALIENT POINTS TO MUNAJAAT AL-MUREEDIN • THE PEOPLE WHO ARE EAGER TO GO TO ALLAH SWT • MUREEDIN COMES FROM IRADAH, WILL – INTENTION TO REACH /ACHIEVE SOMETHING. • A person who is trying to get closer to Allah swt, in this munajat we express our eagerness to get closer to Him. • “May You be glorified, how narrow are the path for him who have not be guided… how narrow are the path for him You have not been GUDE” • If someone doesn’t have You as His guide – the path will seem to be narrow or difficult. • If we have a guide, its much more easier even when we go for hajj, when we do have a guide, it will be more simpler and quicker for doing the amaals in hajj. • If we don’t have a good guide – it would be rather difficult. • Our path can also be sometimes very narrow and very difficult or It can be fast and easy route to Allah swt. If Allah swt is our guide – our pathway will be very narrow. • How clear is the truth for Him whom YOU have Guided!

  3. IF Allah is the guide • The path becomes very clear and fast. And it becomes easy to reach the destination. • The only way to be confident, and not to miss the path, is by taking Allah swt as our GUIDE. • It is upto us to choose and He does not impose on us. It depends on us how we are able to entrust upon HIM. • O Allah, Please make us travel on the roads that arrive at YOU… • Those roads that finally would end at meeting YOU. Subulal-WusuuliIlayk… • The direction that would arrive at Allah swt… • Not only we want to be on the road that we would arrive at you, but set us the path that is the shortest – Aqrab – because our time is very limited. • If we take a long route, we would not be able to reach the destination. Please make near for us the distant..

Key points in this munajaat • Allah swt to reach Him is infinite… He is the Absolute Perfect, therefore the distance is infinite – Long path. • Imam Ali a.s. used to say “ Aah, the path is far, and provisions are very little….” • But if we move on in this journey, then He would help us go faster. • In Dua Abu HamzaThumali says – Imam ZaynulAbedina.s. in this dua says – That Allah would help us reach Him. • But it is upto to us to take the first step, and Allah comes towards us… • We make a plea to Him to make the far nearer, and make easy for us the hard to be easy…. • We need a guide who takes us to the shortest and easiest route to take this path to Allah swt.. • Infact Allah carries the burden and carries us in this journey.

  5. Please let us join those servant of Yours, who are quick in reaching YOU. • We want to be with the people who are not slow or not in motion. • We want to be with those who constantly knock at YOUR door, and by praying to Him, thinking about Him, concerned about Your desire, Your commands and prohibitions and they are striving day and night and have such high regards for YOU, yet they are very humble infront of YOU. • Those are the people who have purified their drinking place, i.e. knowledge, wisdom, and have the marifat, and also taken them to their desires, they are successful and satisfied to what they have achieved and not disappointed. • And You have granted their requests, their pursuits successful. • You have accomplished their wishes through YOUR favours, YOUR guidance and FADHL. • You have been there in their inner soul with YOUR love..

  6. Allah helps teach the highest goals to reach him • Allah swt also says in the Holy Quran has also mentioned about the favours to the Holy Prophet • The devotees have reached a pleasure of whispering to YOU. • The most furthest goals is achieved (highest goals) through YOU. • O He who comes towards those who goes towards Him – Allah swt • In conclusion – • What we do understand from this beautiful Munajaat is that Allah Himself aids those devotees who yearn to seek Him and want to reach to HIM and have the drive, passion to get closer to the Almighty swt. • In essence, We as His servants must yearn to be devoted to Him and aim to attain the pleasures with Him and in HIM.
