Jenis-jenis • Triaxial cable (triax)- 3 lapisan(pelindung, penebat dan penyelaput) • Twin-axial cable (twinax)- twisted pair yang seimbang terkandung dalam pelindung selinder. • Biaxial cable (biax)- konfigurasi figure-8 daripada 2 coaxial cable 50- ohm. • Kelebihan • Kabel diliputi pelindung luaran yang tidak konduktif. • Lebih tahan kpd gangguan dan attenuation berbanding twisted pair. • Murah. • Fleksibel dan senang digunakan. • Baik utk jarak jauh • Sokong kadar data yg tinggi. • Kelemahan • Berat dan besar • Memerlukan penguat utk jarak yg jauh.
