DO Arabako Txakolina: Who am I? • Basque Region, Province of Alava • DO founded in 2003 • 5 vineyards covering 50 ha • Produces 200,000 liters/year • Primary grapes = Hondarrabi Zuri, Petit Manseng, Petit Corbu and Gross Manseng. • Humid climate due to oceanic influence • Cool (<68 °F) & wet, but constant wind • Results in light, fruity, & highly acidic wines
