It is entirely different from what people usually think. Putting a lot of bucks and having a random camera doesn’t make someone even a photographer, a good photographer is a lonely island thing. Before you realize that you need to turn your interest in Photography to your career, you need to know about certain aspects. These aspects are more of a self-introspection, asking questions to yourself aboutreadiness. • Ask yourself how much do you know about it in the world of Photography? • Do you think professional Photography will be like – going to a place, take out the camera, click- click-click, and upload, and the work is done? Is it? No, it takes hundreds of tasks behind the curtains. Editing, renting, camera maintenance, money stuff, business presentations, pitching clients and many more stuff. Clicking pictures is just 10% of the total work. If you’re yetto

  2. realize this or realized but aren’t ready to take that up, then stop. Do not take this as your career. • Ask yourself how much do you know about Photography? • Do you think like take a camera from the desk and click-click-click? You’ll produce a collection of garbage and edit them on Photoshop or Instagram filters. Are you one of those? If no, it’s okay. You need to know a lot about the technology of the camera, Photography, different gears, techniques, pay scale, efforts required, and much more stuff. If you’re too lazy to learn about all this, then you’re not for thisfield. • Ask yourself if you’re ready to be in a financialroller-coaster? • Photography is just like any other business. When you become a professional photographer, you’ll need to pitch many clients, buy more gears as per project. Those gear may sometime find use only for specific projects. You’ll need to rent out a place, taxes, assistant salary, gear transport cost, printing costs, and much more stuff. These financial perks come as a gift when you choose to be a professional photographer. Do you have enough savings/financial back up to suffice if it doesn’t work well? If yes, go forit. • Gotpatience? • Professional photographers need to have patience. As a professional photographer, you’ll be meeting a lot of people with different sets of behavior. During photo-shoot, especially during fashion or pre-wedding Photography, your instructions of a right pose of angle may not be reciprocated by the subject person. So, you will need to handle situations with patience. Photographers are expected to own a mountain of patience. If you’ve got, then you’re ready to swim in the river of professional PhotographyCourses.
