  1. How to Compare the Quality of China Pigment Throughout history, humans have created a huge number of precious aesthetic heritages such as arts, ceramics, paintings, appliances, fabrics, materials, types of equipment, etc. These aesthetic heritages used a large number of synthetic and natural pigments, often characterized by a mixture of various pigments during its use, mixing into rich colours. China pigment is one of the most popular cultural heritages known in the world. Nevertheless, its surviving time is very short, not mentioning the damages caused by flies, mold, insects, smudges, etc. due to environmental, social, or other major factors. In order to retain the quality of those pigments, it is very necessary to rebuild their duplicate colours. Despite, the colours witnessed by our naked eyes or devices such as hyper spectral cameras are usually a mixture of various kinds of colorants due to pigment usage and painting abilities. Such a colorant mixture was well-distributed and tight by performing a three- dimension scope examination. Quality of China Pigment Accordingly, it is hard to determine the type and quality of China pigments on the surface of paintings before restoration. China Pigment Manufacturers - pigment analysis is an essential and complicated subject in preserving and restoring China paintings since the pigments observed by our naked eyes such as hyper spectral cameras are usually a mixture of different kinds of colorants. The purpose of this article was to explore a more efficient and effective method to confirm the type and quality of every pigment on the surface of paintings. Methods Some algorithms were adopted to recognize the types of China pigments and a method used to determine the proportion of pigment is the ratio spectra derivative spectrophotometer. 1.Extracting the pure pigment ingredients from the mixed spectrum by adopting two algorithms namely: Independent Component Analysis and Non-negative Matrix Factorization. 2.Meeting the separated pure colour with the pigment spectral archives built in the lab to determine the pigment type and quality.

  2. 3.Determining the proportions of various pigments using the Ratio Spectra Derivative Spectrophotometer method based on the Mode, which is advanced and developed based on the original algorithm.
