CORPORATE ACTIONS • Ghana Stock Exchange is primary source of corporate action • GSD does not process information • Provides entitlement list to Registrars • Final upload is done at the GSD and accounts are credited • With regards to bonus issue accounts are credited directly after apply date is communicated by Issuer

  3. SETTLEMENT MODEL (BIS MODEL II) • Settlement cycle T + 3 • Guarantee Fund • Each clearing member has a committed line of credit with a bank • Settlement Bank – commercial bank electronically linked with the Clearing House • Net cash settlement, Gross Securities Settlement
