Introduction • This document contains an updated report to the IEEE 802 Executive Committee completing conditional approval to send the IEEE P802.11u Draft to Sponsor Ballot. • Revision 5 of this document (11-09-0715r5) was approved during the closing plenary session of the 802.11 working group on 17 July 2009. • Passed in the Task Group yes 14, no 1, abstain 0 • Passed in the Working Group yes , no , abstain Slide 2 Stephen McCann (RIM), Bruce Kraemer (Marvell)

  3. September 2009 status after LB156 September 2009 Recirculation ballot LB156 was completed on 18 August 2009 according to the schedule presented on slide #12 The approval percentage from LB156 is 93%. Slide 3 Stephen McCann (RIM), Bruce Kraemer (Marvell)

LB156 required comments resolution September 2009 There was 1 new valid DISAPPROVE vote with 1 required comment (CID 8001), but the voter then changed his required comment to not required on 22nd September 2009 (slide #5). There were 4 new required comments (CIDs 8015, 8016, 8013, 8014) from 1 existing DISAPPROVE voter, but the voter then changed these to not required on 22nd September 2009 (slide #6).
