  1. Dr. Raj Khandwalla Has Expertise in the Field of Cardiology

  2. Dr. Raj Khandwalla has had a successful career working as a cardiologist in the medical field. He is presently practicing with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates. He performs a comprehensive analysis of the patient's condition and recommends custom treatment programs.

  3. A cardiologist, Dr. Khandwalla has an extensive educational background. He earned his bachelor's degree in molecular cell biology with an emphasis in neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley. He has received his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine,

  4. And a master's degree in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Dr. Khandwalla has done his residency training at New York University Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. He helped develop curriculum for the internal medicine program that focused on web-based educational tools.

  5. He was responsible for running multiple case and lecture conference weekly. Recently, he has done a cardiology fellowship from Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center. He worked on cardiac care unit, advanced heart failure unit and consult services.

He won California Alumni leadership award, Alan Charney NYU research Award and Washington DC VA outpatient Award. He is the co-author of several research papers on heart failure and has also conducted research on mitral valve disease.

  7. Dr. Khandwalla makes dedicated efforts towards the use of mobile technology to help patients in monitoring and changing their habits to reduce cardiovascular risks. In his free time, he enjoys yoga, skiing, hiking and running.
