Unwilling participants PURPOSE: This will be the second year of our intervention groups with the use of the Read Well program and we felt we needed to tweak the program and discuss the positive and negatives of last years program.

  5. Updates for 2007-2008 • Read Well Plus Units 39-50 • Intervention times changed to accommodate more personnel • Working within our own grade level • More groups • Homework packets for Kindergarten small groups

  11. Staying on board with intervention • The K-2 Literacy group will continue to look at ways to improve our intervention groups. • Planning 15-20 minute meetings every couple of weeks so that students that need to be moved to a different group can be reviewed.

  12. Working together as a grade level and a school to help each student succeed to the best of their potential. • Growing Professionally as teachers • Keeping parents informed as to how their child is progressing with the use of the data from the Dibels and Aims
