Dr. Helen Adams and Christine Couchman present a comprehensive approach to financial modelling used by Gwynedd LHB. They mapped financial expenditures down to individual GP practices utilizing the best available data, despite the time-intensive process. This initiative now serves as a valuable resource across North Wales. They discuss the Four Quadrants methodology for assessing data quality and using financial data in conjunction with various healthcare datasets to improve local understanding and decision-making, emphasizing that while data may be inadequate, it is still more beneficial than none.
