  2. Thyroid Case Studies: 2 A 60 year old woman recovering from an acute myocardial infarction is suspected of being hypothyroid. She is on the following medications: digoxin, prednisone and lasix. TSH - 0.2 μU/mL, FT4 - 1.5 ng/dL, T3 - 130 ng/dL

  3. Thyroid Case Studies:3 A 28 year-old 3 months post-partum patient with signs and symptoms of hyperthyroidism including a smooth enlargement of the thyroid gland TSH - <0.1μU/mL, FT4 - 3.5 ng/dL T3 - 500 ng/dL, 24h RAI - <2 percent
