Realism Bellringer #9 3/9/12 • Why is the narrator writing her diary in secret? • Describe the type of relationship the narrator and her husband seem to have. • Look at the passage on page 768-769 where the narrator first describes the yellow wallpaper. Pick at least five adjectives she uses to describe the wallpaper. • Based on this diction (word choice) how do you think the narrator feels about the wallpaper?
