Technology – A Blessing With Curse In today's world, technology has launched itself into every field of life. People are thoroughly relying on technology from their day to day work to their professional field. Technology has become the master of the world as it has moved to each and every sector of the world. No doubt it has converted the tasks that take weeks or months, get done into a few minutes or seconds. It has turned every procedure of life quite simple, due to which every person has become dependent on the technology. As we all know everything that comes with short-cuts also have its dark side on the other hand. Technology is also not a present without any harm. Its harm is as massive as its benefits. Some of the disadvantages of technology are as follows. 1.Technology has reduced the requirement of man power to a huge extent. For example, a task in a factory does require 100 men for its completion, can be done by single or few machines or huge plants. So it has taken jobs from a lot of people worldwide. 2.Machines and equipment are inexpensive to buy as compare to their productions, but if any breakdown or damage happens in them, it costs a lot to get it repaired or renewed. Technology is running the life cycle so fast that the time wastes due to breaking down of technology lead to suffering all the work system along with financial loss. 3.Technology has entered the privacy of people's life. People have deliberately allowed the technology to access into their lives for seeking the marvelous benefits of technology. This has given birth to cyber crimes and misuse of data of the public. There are cyber thieves and criminals who use technology to intervene in someone's property.
4.Technology has no eyes or brains to judge the purpose of the user. The technology works similarly for terrorists and criminals as they work for innocents. 5.Assisting terrorists is one of the major disadvantages of technology. Technology helps terrorists in many ways such as handling hazardous weapons, letting them intervene in highly secure servers, getting the knowledge of people or area, and many more. Technology assists them in their plans of damage or tragedy. 6.While talking of social platforms we see many cases of fraudulent and misguidance. It is quite easy to manipulate people while chatting over social websites. It becomes so difficult for a person to judge right or wrong over the internet. 7.Technology has formed the man quite lazy and dull as man has transferred all the work from the body and brain to the technology. 8.Man is very much disassociated with society with the evolution of technology. They prefer to spend there much of the time over mobiles and laptops rather than being with family and friends. Besides these all, there are numerous demerits of technology. No doubt, on the other hand, it has also blessed the human with life-saving gifts, but all for what cost, is quite complicated to conclude.
