2. Unit Summary In this Unit the students will learn the rooms and furniture found in the home, as well as what chores and activities different people in their families do at home. They will investigate how homes and families are different around the world. Students will produce a project in which they describe their dream home and what responsibilities their “entourage” will do in the house.

Student Objectives/Outcomes • Students will make connections with other cultures by comparing their home lives in the United States and those of people in Spanish-speaking cultures. • Students will present information about the home and those who live there through innovative and collaborative visual presentations.
