Maritime Connectivity From the Colombian Atlantic Coast to the East Coast of the United States, there are (9) nine direct services, which have an average transit time of 10 days. Additionally, there are available routes connecting thru the ports of Jamaica, Panama and the Dominican Republic, operated by (4) shipping companies, with a maximum transit period of 18 days. Three (3) direct services are offered from the Colombian Atlantic Coast to the US Western Coast, with an average transit time of 12 days. There are also connecting routes thru Panama’s ports, operated by (5) shipping companies, with a maximum transit period of 16 days. From the Colombian Pacific Coast to the Eastern Coast of the United States, there is one (1) direct service with an average transit time of 15 days. Also there are three (3) shipping companies with this service, changing boats in Panama, with a maximum transit period of 19 days. To the Western Coast, there is one (1) direct service with transit periods of 14 to 16 days, and there are two (2) shipping companies with this service, changing boats in Panama, with a maximum transit period of 18 days.
