  1. Know about Conventional Fire Alarm System & a Single Loop System =============================================== A conventional fire alarm system is a system where there are different components in a fire alarm system that is all wired to a primary cable in the fire alarm. This type of system has a control panel and display to operate the fire alarm in the structure. The components in a conventional alarm system include panels, fire detectors, smoke detectors, and manual activating devices, notification devices, networking devices and different software components in such a system. Conventional alarm systems have been around for decades. If there is no proper software in place, conventional alarm systems often just put out an alarm of a fire and do not actually tell the people which area of the building is giving out the fire alarm. Conventional fire alarm systems work well for smaller establishments much better than they work for large buildings. Single Loop Control System When a single cabling loop runs across the entire premise wired to a fire alarm system it is called a single loop control system. This means that multiple fire alarm detectors, smoke detectors, and various fire safety devices that can be attached to one central device using the single loop control system. This is a fire alarm system that can be used to create a complex fire alarm system that runs on a single loop that includes many fire safety systems. Source: http://ravelfire.com/
