  2. The aspirants who want to pursue their career in teaching fields after completing the graduation or postgraduation must be aware of the teaching entrance tests which are conducted in India. Here, we are sharing the details of some important teaching tests that could help you to pursue your career in the teaching field.

  3. NTA UGC NET • The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET Exam to check the eligibility of an aspirant who wants to become a lecturer or researcher. The exam is conducted for 81 subjects like in Humanities, English, Commerce, Education, etc. • UGC NET Exam is known as India’s top competitive exam in the teaching line.

  4. CSIR NET Exam • The CSIR NET(Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test) is also conducted for selecting the candidates for lectureship and for Junior Research Fellowship. • The exam is only conducted for science stream students. Those who qualify this exam can apply for various reputed colleges and institutes of India.

  5. SLET or SET Exam • The SLET (State Level Eligibility Test) is conducted by the National Testing Agency to determine the eligibility of an aspirant for teaching and research purposes in various colleges and institutes. • There are many states opted to conduct their own State Level Eligibility Test for Asst. professorship.

  6. TGT, PGT, PRT • These three tests conducted for different teaching level as mentioned below • PRT – Teaching at Primary Level i.e. 1st to 5th • TGT – Teaching at secondary level i.e. 6th to 10th • PGT – Teaching at Senior Secondary Level i.e. 11th and 12th
