  4. THE IMPORTANCE OF DOCTRINE

  5. (2Ti 4:3-4) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Psalms 138:2 KJV– “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: forthouhastmagnifiedthywordaboveallthyname.” Psalms 138:2 NIV I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.

(1Ti 6:3-5) If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
