  1. The Ultimate Fighter Season 16 | 4Q12 One of the fastest growing genres in sports, Mixed Martial Arts is a unique blend of various fighting styles from all over the world. In similar fashion, The Ultimate Fighter unites MMA prospects from different walks of life to live, train, and compete for a coveted UFC contract. We’ll share these stories over the course of thirteen weeks to millions of fans. While the talent is awe-inspiring and the passion undeniable, in the end, only one elite fighter will be crowned THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER.   2. The Ultimate Fighter Season 16 Coaches Each season the fighters learn from guys who have been there and done that. The coaches for season 16 are heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy “Big Country” Nelson. These fan favorites will help mentor and push the contestants over the 13 weeks. Roy Nelson Shane Carwin Winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 10, Roy “Big Country” Nelson is a fan favorite of the UFC. With his impressive agility and skill for a guy his size, he’s an exciting match up and draw for fans of the UFC. With experience against champions Frank Mir and Junior Dos Santos, Nelson has the experience to draw upon and use to help coach season 16’s contestants. Shane Carwin’s rapid rise to heavyweight stardom was slowed in 2011 due to injury. Now, the fan favorite looks to make an epic comeback in 2012. Back and better than ever, he’ll give the contestants advice drawn upon from his fight experience with Brock Lesnar and Junior Dos Santos.
