The White Faced Capuchin Monkey The White Faced Monkey is the smallest monkey found in Honduras weighing 2.5-3.5 kilograms or 5.5-8 pounds. These monkeys are very social animals and can be found in groups of 2-25. Its diets consists of fruits, leaves, flowers, small insects and birds’ eggs They are found in the tropical and dry forests of eastern central Honduras. NEXT
Jaguar The Jaguar is the largest carnivore found in Central America. They are good swimmers and climbers. Its diet consists of monkeys, deer, fish, turtles and other animals. They usually live alone except during the mating season in August to September. The cubs stay with the mother They have been hunted intensively due to the high value of their pelt.
