  3. LEGISLATIVE PROGRAMME Brief Summary of the Bill National Small Business Amendment Bill • Deletion of provision relating to NSBC • Provision allowing for alternative voice for Small Business • Clarifying role of Ntsika viz. the dti

LEGISLATIVE PROGRAMME Black Economic Empowerment Bill • Providing definition • Provision to enable Minister to issue codes of goods practice and define their status • Provision to develop Sectoral Transformation Charter • Establishment of Advisory Committee and provide for its role and functions • Report and monitoring mechanism

  5. LEGISLATIVE PROGRAMME Co-operatives Bill • Provide for formation, registration and winding up of Co-ops • To broaden scope and allow active promotion of Co-ops • Clarification of policy objectives
