Index • First project • Second project • Heating • Energy generation • Sustainable elements • Drawings of the house • Conclusion • End of the presentation
First project • First project was Czech Republic • House • Hotel • Had different sustainable facilities • Little of information about the energy plus house
Second project • Second project is Dortmund, Germany • Designed by a group of students • Build in 2007
Heating • Using blades with solarcells • No Geothermal • Using Heat pumps for hot water and heat indoors • Much insulation applied
Energy generation • Use of a second facade • Blades with solar cells on the South, East and West side • Solar panel on the roof • Connected to the mains, but only to the selling energy
Sustainable elements • North glass is four-layer • East- South and West side are three-layer
Drawings of the house Section wall with Blades Floor plan: first floor + second floor
Conclusion • Solar panels are nicely incorporated into the blades. • House produces more energy than it cosumes.
Made by: Jacob, Feike, Pieter and Bonne Foreign project to domestic project
Foreign project • Solar cells on blades • Using a heat pump for heating and making electricity • Has a veranda that saves heat • Modern look • Remainingenergy is sold
Domestic project • There is an electric car drive on the remaining energy • Traditional look • Using geothermal and sun for making heat • Base is made by waste
Conclusion • Choice goes to Leusden • Leusden has a traditional look • The remaining energy is better spent • Base is made by waste
