Conservation by Consensus: Protecting Native Plants and Animals in California

This project aims to conserve California's native plants and animals through a method for consensus in conservation planning. By using GIS measures and the Hexagon model for consensus convergence, the goal is to inspire care for wilderness. The overarching goal is biodiversity improvements through diverse stakeholder involvement. With partners like Defenders of Wildlife, The Wilderness Society, and CA Native Plant Society, the project sets out to design a network and implementation plan for formal decision-making in environmental management.
