  1. What Is The Best Time To Visit Tadoba?  December 11, 2020 -  Tadoba -  0 Comments Tadoba’s landscape is a fascinating collection of flora and fauna. As with most forest landscapes, much of what you see during the year depends on what season it is. Wildlife is extremely fickle this way, and some species often go into hibernation during the colder months while others come alive specifically during this time. In detail, we’ll talk about what changes each season brings out in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. This includes how to prepare for the weather and what fauna you can expect to see. Summers As the days start to get warmer around Tadoba, the wildlife of Tadoba reserve start heading to the watering holes in the open more often. Days get longer, providing good ambient light for a longer period of time. And the long grass gets thinner, meaning it’s easier to spot wildlife in the growth. Tigers especially tend to spend more time in the watering holes lazing or playing with siblings. Summers are good times to spot wildlife out in the open. However, do be aware that temperatures can go higher than 40 degrees C. Do bring along comfortable light fabric clothing that’s also dull-colored, to try and blend into the landscape when going for safaris or nature walks. Around our resort in Tadoba, summers are made much more bearable thanks to our usage of earth-friendly materials. And there’s always our infinity pool to dive into after a long day of Tadoba safaris!

  2. Monsoons Monsoons in Maharashtra are really when the forests come alive. The colors of the forest go from a dull brown to a vibrant green, and the forest sings in chorus the praises of the rain. Monsoons are when reptiles especially come out of hiding to breed or simply because it’s wet everywhere. Abundance of foliage for herbivores everywhere means that their predators are also hiding nearby, waiting for them. And in the evening, the forests light up with scores of fireflies drifting in the breeze, trying to find mates. Monsoons in Tadoba may bring out a new life to the jungle. But this season has its own drawbacks. Water gets everywhere, for starters! Be sure to bring plenty of warm clothing and waterproof bags for your electronics. You’ll also need to look out for pesky leeches in the undergrowth!   YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE Forest Feature: Wildlife Sightings With Red Earth Tadoba Resort  December 11, 2020
