Flóðbylgjur. Hvað er flóðbylgja ?. Flóðbylgja er röð bylgja sem verða til þegar vatn (t.d. sjór) er snögglega fært úr stað. Flóðbylgjur geta verið af ýmsum stærðum. Á síðasta áratug 20. aldar er talið að um 4000 manns hafi farist í rúmlega 80 flóðbylgjum. Tsunami-flóðbylgjur.
