  1. Simple Home Remedies for GERD GERD which stands for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease is one of the most common diseases faced by the people of today’s world. Today even a small child faces the problem of GERD. From an adult to a small child, the problem of GERD has affected millions of people. So, what is GERD? How does it affect people? GERD happens when the acid in our stomach move towards our windpipe and our food pipe. When the acid enters the pipes it causes burning sensation in the pipes and hence we feel uncomfortable. It might also happen that the acid can also damage the pipes if we are affected by GERD for a long period of time. From heartburn to cardiac arrest, GERD can be a really dangerous disease for the people. It is also seen that people who are having the problem with GERD also have a problem with breathing; therefore this disease should not be taken lightly. If you are also facing GERD problems then the following home remedies can help you to get some relief. 1.Maintain a diet routine If you are facing the problem of GERD then make sure that you maintain a healthy diet routine. Therefore if you are having the problem of GERD make sure that you never keep your stomach empty. Have some small meal after a short interval of time. This will keep you to keep your stomach full and contented and at the same time, it will also keep your GERD problem far from you.
