Welcome to Garfield Community Magnet Middle School: A New Era for 7th Graders

Welcome, prospective 7th-grade students, to Garfield Community Magnet Middle School! Our dedicated administration is here to support you: Principal Mrs. Massa, Assistant Principals Mr. Moccia and Mr. Oldoni, and Pre-K-6 Principal Mr. Cammarata. We became an independent middle school in January and serve approximately 600 students across clusters for grades 6-8. Our facilities include classrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors, two cafeterias, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Join us for core classes, health, music, art, and numerous extracurricular activities. Let's embrace the motto: "DO THE RIGHT THING!"

Some Facts about The Garfield Middle School • In January we became our own Middle School. • Our classrooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors. • There are 3 ~ 7th Grade Clusters, 3 ~ 8th Grade Clusters, 1 Grade 7 and 8 Combined Cluster and 1~ 6th Grade Cluster. • We have 2 cafeterias. • We have an Olympic size swimming pool that the students use as part of their Physical Education Curriculum. • Our Middle School has approximately 600 students. • We celebrate the “Positive”. • Our motto is …DO THE RIGHT THING!
