Reggi Hopkins lives in Chicago, Illinois and is the Director of Music Industry Workshop and Music Tech Workshop, two companies dedicated to educating people about the music production, music technology and the workings of the music industry at large. Music has always been a passion of Reggi’s, as has education, so he is thrilled to have a career in which he can combine the two and put dedicate his expertise towards helping others. Reggi is also passionate about preserving the environment, as he grew up in the Shawnee forest, learning an appreciation for the natural beauty of our earth at a young age. Because of this love of nature, Reggi in involved in numerous causes and pursuits dedicated towards the preservation of our environment. He has created many green initiative programs and technologies himself, incorporating his entrepreneurial skills and technology interests with environmental activism. Hopkins has also been involved in a number of successful programs aimed at supporting the Chicago area’s special needs groups. His primary focus was education and empowerment through music and media arts, again combining his passions to achieve a new result and positively benefit others. He believes that creativity is an extremely powerful method of expression and is an outlet that everyone can benefit from in their lives. Hopkins can be accredited for the creation of extremely well-received creative programs for special needs individuals, at-risk youth and adults in lower income areas, wheel-chair bound, visually impaired, veterans, ex-offenders, and those suffering from ADHD and Bi-Polar.
