  1. Introducing…Aloysian Partners International in support of St. Aloysius College (SAC) Mangalore, India

  2. What is API? (Aloysian Partners International) • Is a support system to help raise resources for SAC • Is intended to be the umbrella organization to reach Aloysians all over the world. • Is a structured and enhanced version of SAC Alumni. • Is not intended to replace current SAC Alumni units – but to unite them, optimizing efforts and benefits. • Is intended to relieve SAC of the Marketing and Financial responsibilities. API is not yet fully formed and is ‘work-in-progress’.

  3. Goals for API (on behalf of SAC) • To ensure an ongoing effort to raise resources, to sustain SAC’s current and future growth plans. • To generate a broad based passion and support for SAC from Aloysian alumni and other partners. • To organize and energize a vibrant Aloysian Alumni Association at a global level, to benefit from ‘strength in numbers’. • To motivate younger Aloysians to support SAC in an ongoing manner in financial, academic and cultural areas. • To assist and guide SAC to build a ‘Top 10’ Business School • To provide advice and guidance to the SAC management as needed

Financial Goals of API (on behalf of SAC) • Raise US$ 15.0M (INR 60 Cr) for a new Business School campus over a span of 3 years (2009-2011) • Raise US$ 5.0M (INR 20 Cr) to support the ‘Aloysian Endowment Fund’ established for scholarships and budgetary needs. • Define a 5 year plan for SAC growth goals and assess financial needs. • Professional Management of SAC’s financial needs and resources by outside participation as advisors, including alumni.

  10. API P-O-A (Plan ofAction) Check List • Formally structure API. • Create an ‘AP (Aloysian Partner) database. • Create a common Marketing Package: I. Appeal Letter II. SAC Brochure III. SAC Video • Establish a vibrant and dynamic API website and web marketing team. • Create a growing global API Regional Field Team structure. • Establish API coordination, communication and management system. • Finalize ‘Strategic Long Term Plan (SLP)’ and procure formal approval by SAC. • Establish a Board of Advisors (BOA) for the purpose of St. Aloysius School of Business (SASB).
