This workshop introduces the Title VI-A grant program, focusing on enhancing global education initiatives, particularly in African studies and foreign language offerings. Co-directors Lisa Hollander and Lisa Spaulding will discuss the program's history, including successful developments like the Global Education Certificate and course infusions. Participants will learn about available funding, the goals of the grant, and the steps required for grant application. We aim to enrich the curriculum while fostering collaboration among community and four-year colleges to elevate educational standards.

Title VI-A: 2002-05 • Focused on China (Y1) and Mexico/the Caribbean (Y2) • Expanded offerings of French and Chinese via ITV • Created the Global Education Certificate
This was a starter grant • No one expected it to succeed • But Ethel Sawyer, Janice Meyer, Dr. Kellerman, Dr. Farnsworth and all the participating faculty made it work!
